The weather is getting cold. My mom and I visited the market and saw big piles of butternut squash. I asked if I can make butternut squash soup. I borrowed the recipe from the book called Cook Book for Girls.
First my mom helped me peeled the skin and seeds cause they are kind of thick. Then she cut them into 1-inch chunks. We put them with the onions into oven for about 50 mins till they turned really soft.
I added the squash and onion chunks into the blender and puree. I am surprised they are so sweet and creamy without the sugar or milk added.
It's so yummy!!!
